Over the years, some popular Nigerian pastors who have brought the
gospel of Christ have given marriage a second try after they parted ways
or lost their spouse to the cold hands of death.
1. Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor
The founder of Word of Life Bible Church and the president of the
Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) lost his first wife Stella to
diabetes in 1996. In 1997, the man of God married to Helen and their
union is blessed with beautiful triplets, Ayodele Joseph, Ayodeji and
Ayodeta Helen.
2. Pastor Taiwo Odukoya
He is the founder of the Fountain of Life Bible Church. He lost his
wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya on December 10, 2005, as result of the
Sosoliso plane crash. In 2010, Pastor Odukoya decided to move on and got
married to South African beauty, Rosemary Nomthi. Their marriage is
waxing stronger with each passing day.
3. Pastor Anslem Madubuko
He is the senior pastor and founder of Revival Assembly Ministries
International (The New Anointing). He lost his wife of twenty-eight
years Connie Madubuko in 2012 while he was out of Nigeria on ministerial
work. She is reported to have suffered from cardiac arrest and later
died in a private clinic. The pastor later got remarried in 2013 to
Kenyan gospel singer Emmy Kosgei.
4. Pastor Kumuyi

The General Superintendent and founder of Deeper Life Bible Church is one of Nigeria’s most popular pastors to have suffered the loss of a partner. His late wife, Sister Biodun Kumuyi as she was fondly called passed away at the age of fifty-seven on 11th April 2009. Pastor Kumuyi found love a year later when he got married to Esther Blaize who had been the administrator of the church in London. She was 65 as the time of the marriage to Pastor Kumuyi and had never been married before.
5. Pastor Ituah Ighodalo

Pastor Itah Ighodalo was the resident pastor of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Christ Church, Gbagada, Lagos, who was known for his eloquence and stylish mannerisms. He became a hot topic when he was sacked by the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye for divorcing his wife of many years Lucy- Ann Suinner and marrying former Miss Lux, Ibidun Ajayi, now Mrs. Ibidun Ighodalo.
6. Pastor Chris Okotie
Household of God pastor who has over time been known for his controversial lifestyle has been married twice and announced he has separated from his second wife on June 24, 2012. He broke up with Stephanie Henshaw, his second wife of four years.
7. Pastor Chris Kpakpovwe
Rev Chris Kwakpovwe, publisher of Our Daily Manna was once married to
Pastor Dolapo before getting married to Rev. (Mrs.) Ejiro Flora
Kwakpovwe. Kwapovwe reportedly took another Wife in June 2000 in
Ughelli, Delta state after getting married to Mrs Dolapo Kwapovwe in
1987.
